Upper Arm Thumb Pain Possible Causes Of A Numb Right Thumb, Plus Dull Aching, Tingling And Some Numbness In The Right Upper Arm?

Possible causes of a numb right thumb, plus dull aching, tingling and some numbness in the right upper arm? - upper arm thumb pain

Originally there was pain in the shoulder and slight numbness started a few weeks. Shoulder pain diagnosed as tendinitis, but the numbness has gotten worse, and developed pain in his arm. Anti-inflammatory, to do something against the pain, the only thing that relieves all ;-) temporarilly a bottle of wine. Movement of the thumb is limited, and tingling in my arm, I periodically during the day. You can start in the morning, and the symptoms seem to worsen as the day progresses, it is very uncomfortable night.

Last occasional minor tingling in my left hand is now a little worried.

Ideas?

Can be as simple as arthritis in the shoulder and / or elbow to the shoulder complex as a rotor cuff partially broken. Complete rupture then possibly cause excrutiating pain, numbness and muscle atrophy connection eventuall.

XRay areas have specialist ergonomics. If results are negative, then consult a neurologist to determine why suffereing nerve pain. Traditionally, the traffic problems are also at the beginning of the cooling of the skin and swelling of the fingers.

Good luck and prayers.

What they should do is, nerve pain and numbness, and it seems that the problem is on their shoulders. NSAIDs do not help you with this kind of pain. I agree with the other person needs to consult an orthopedic doctor. Consult your family doctor to visit you and ask you a good referral to an orthopedist. Good luck!

You should see a orthopedic surgeon. It seems that the original problem, the cause of the arm nerves are affected. There may be some things you need to do about it, such as steroid injections, or surgery.

The origin is probably tendinitis. Try ice or heat on the shoulder. Whatever it makes you feel better, to continue to use.

I think with all the numbness and tingling should see a neurologist, an MRI can the cervical spine (neck) consult with. You may have spinal stenosis, a pinched nerve, etc.

The wine is probably not a good solution.

Hope you feel better soon.
